Writing about teams #19-12

These were even more fun to write about than #24-20. These teams have become much more familiar to me and writing about them. Team #19 was Team USA, who I have the most knowledge about so far, so my analysis was much more comprehensive than previous posts. Obviously, there I have a rooting interest, so that was a fun post for me. I think USA can do well at this tournament, but it will take some great, unified performances.  #18 was Chile, who is a high ranked team in the world but I still didn't know much about them. I was interested to research and learn more about them as they were such a highly touted team in the World. 

Team USA

#17 was England, who is such a massive team in the world, so I know a lot about their team. A good friend of mine is an avid England supporter, so I know he'll be mad about where I slotted them. However, they're in a group with Uruguay and Italy, who are powerhouses, so I don't think England makes it out of their group even though they're quality. #16 was Switzerland, who I don't think is very good, so I think they're the worst of the 16 teams I picked to advance out of the groups. #15 is Russia, who always is composed in playing. I watched them a lot this year since they were in the same qualification group with my favorite team Portugal, so I know they're a decent team. But I think #15 is fair.

England National Team

#14 is Cote D'Ivoire, who has so much talent, but never comes together, so I have them at #14, where they could finish much higher, or plummet. Croatia is #13. They're really underrated, and they have Luka Modric, who I think is a fantastic player. But they're not going to be able to score and defend with the top class teams. Lastly, Bosnia and Herzegovina was at #12, where i think will be a great finish for a team at their first World Cup. They're up and coming, but not ready to compete with the top class teams. Look out for Edin Dzeko. 

Only 11 teams left, which will be fun to finish up.
